The so-very-special cempasúchil / marigold flowers are a traditional element for the offering for Día de Muertos. Our marigolds add a bright, fragrant and colorful essence to any space. Cempasúchil can also be used for other culinary and medicinal purposes.
All flowers are grown by amazing farmers we know in Kumeyaay and Luiseño lands in San Diego County. We are grateful to all the farmers growing cempasúchil with so much care and dedication.
Naturally grown flowers have been grown using organic and/or regenerative practices.

City Farmers Nursery is a 1.5 acre nursery specializing in edible plants since 1972. Now, this family owned and run space is a staple to not-be-missed where you can find native plants, beekeeping gear, bonsais, and everything-plants along with the sweetest farm animals. Nates Garden Grill is a cozy dining room with a rustic outdoor patio and an eclectic line-up of local musicians that play regularly. It is the perfect setting for relaxing with family and friends and enjoying good quality food, beverages and music.
